I noticed that there arent alot of Christian poetry groups so I decided to make one.
~Does the poems submitted have to be about God?
A: No. Of course we want Christian ones too but other poetry is just as good.
Invite other Christians into the group and we shall see how this goes. Thanks

WELCOME! This group is meant for most anyone but is mostly meant for christian poetry. If your not a Christian but want to join the group feel free but please respect our views as we should respect yours. Occasionally I will be blogging a verse with 2 questions to chew on so feel free to look at that. Also I might be posting inspirational stories. Thanks for checking us out and I hope you come back! #3- You may submit things not related to God but of course God stuff is preffered

A Radical Faith

We live in a world that encourages being right in the middle. Don’t be too radical because you never know where that may lead you! But here I am to say that I am sick of it. We have a radical faith and we are living placent lives. Where do we say that we are going to LIVE like Jesus did? Where do we draw the line? I fall short so many times and every time I go back BEGGING God to let me back in and to accept me again. Being God he does, EVERY time. But when am I going to learn that it’s my time to live ENTIRELY for Jesus. When do I give Him my all?
Jesus wasn’t interested in marketing to the masses, so why should I try to sugar coat my faith? I am not trying to give you a message of intolerance but rather a message of listen to others but don’t forsake your own faith. Don’t tell yourself that what you are doing now is “good enough.” Because what is good enough? As Christians we have to constantly tell ourselves that we can do better. STRIVE to be as close to Jesus as you can be. Are we going to settle for a less than radical faith?

Hi there. I'm typing this because there's a Kickstarter Project ending soon that I feel needs help, and now, and you guys are the best bet they got.

A man named Daniel Dunkley is currently trying to raise money to fund a Christian Graphic Novel that he wishes to make. The graphic novel is called "Kingdom Invasion". It's intended to be the first in a series of books teaching children the proper way to worship God and Jesus Christ. Their aim is to make this into a series of books, and ultimately animated films.

The book needs 7,975 pounds in order to be funded, and it must reach its goal by May 24th at 9:42am EDT. As of this post, they have 55 pounds.

Maybe this is a lost cause at this point, but I hope you find this project interesting, and consider helping it to get funded. If you would like to see the project, here are some links to the Kickstarter page.

By the way, I apologize if I seemed weird by just showing you this out of the blue, or presumptuous in assuming you would fund this because you are a group for Christian Deviants. Sure, I could just post a journal entry about this, but I think this would help to make sure the people I want to reach see it. Still, sorry if I seemed weird or presumptuous.

That said, let me know what you think of the project once you see the link, if you would anyway. I hope that you consider helping this project get funded.

As a Christian..which many of you say you are.. I am wondering if you like many others who claim to be Christian if you are planning to vote for Romney..?
Consider the following.
